Angry bird Easter egg crochet pattern

Happy Easter, folks!:)

 

 

Abbreviations:

sc: single crochet
inc: 2 sc in one stitch
dec: 1 sc over two stitches through the front loops only (this is called invisible decrease)

 

Take a  red yarn.
R1:  Make a magic ring with 6 st (6)

R2: *inc in each stitch around* (12)
R3: *inc, sc* around (18)
R4: *2 sc, inc* around (24)
R5: *inc, 3 sc* around (30)
R6: *4 sc, inc* around (36)
R7-12: *sc around* (36)
R13: *dec, 4 sc* around (30) 

R14-15: *sc around* (30)
R16: *dec, 3 sc* around (24)
R17: *sc around* (24)
R18: *dec, 2 sc* around (18)
R19: *dec, 1sc* around (12)

Stuff with polyfil firmly

 

R20: dec around until you have 6 st (6)
R21: *sc around* (6) 
R22: 1inc, 5 sc  (7)
R23: 1inc, 6 sc (8)
R24: 1inc, 7 sc (10)
R25: 1inc,  9 (12)
R26: 1 dec, 1 sc (8)
R27: dec until you close the gap


eyes(make two): 


 

R1: Make a magic ring with 6 st (6)
R2: *inc in each stitch around* (12)
Fasten off & hide the tail. Then sew to the egg with a black yarn - pull trough the back of the egg and start sew as pictured:









eyebrows:


pull the yarn above the eye and make a little loop then pull the yarn back and make a chain with 4 st:





pull the tail between the eyes and pull it above the other eye. Repeat the procedure:
  


Belly: 

Take a white yarn
R1:  Make a magic ring with 6 st (6)
R2: *inc in each stitch around* (12)
R3: *inc, sc* around (18)
R4: *2 sc, inc* around (24)




sew to the egg as pictured: 

The beak:


Take a yellow yarn
R1: Make a magic ring with 6 st (6)
R2-3: sc around (6)
R4: R2: *inc in each stitch around* (12)
Sew to the egg body!
